Yes, that might help in court.so just so i know. if i was to take a pic of the serial number and then s later down the line if buyer said item is not as described and sent it back, and i then realise it is not the correct item but a different ipad to the one i sold. If i provided pics of the serial number of the one i sent with the one i had now been sent back that would be enuf to put claim in my favour?
or no?
EDIT: not at all, you're very welcome, sorry I'm being a bit harsh. Buyers have trust issues on these kind of high-ticket items too.
Good luck. I'm sure it will all work out. Come back to us if it doesn't and we'll give you more help, hopefully constructive."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

thats ok, i understand the buyer may be feeling exactly the same as me. I just get very paranoid about these kind of things but I need the cash and ebay is the best place to try and sell this kind of stuff.
Youve put me a bit more at ease now. i know to send via specail del so i have a signature online, I know to take lots of photos in case of SNAD. I know to keep posting receipt for at lease 180 days incase of fraud. I think i am aware now of how to handle most situations but I hope it will be a simple case of send item, buyer is happy and leaves good feedback.:j0 -
I sold a games console just before Christmas for just under £100 to a buyer with 0 feedback, although they had been registered for a couple of years.
I was panicking but I sent the item SD and there were no problems at all. The item was going to be a gift for her husband for Christmas and everything went smoothly.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
