Send it via Special delivery to be confirmed that someone actually received it...will be insured as well...

  • I am resurrecting this post because I sent off my driving license and received it back but seen or heard nothing about the card, not even a refusal.Am worried now in case it has been sent out and intercepted.

I would suggest giving them a call.

But usually when you get a new card you need to call a number to activate it.
If someone else received it they would need to firstly get through security and to use it they'd need your PIN number.
So if they got the card alone they wouldn't be able to do anything with it.
Only if they've been through your bins and got other pieces of information about you as well.
This is why you should shred everything if you can.
  • If I give them a call I only have an 0870 number so I am concerned about the cost of the call, maybe this is a deliberate move to make me phone them.

Did you ask them to reply?
I often ask for acknowledgment/confirmation in letters.

Do they have an email address or secure messaging?
