ftp, dreamweaver, filezilla

Hi Folks,I've written a website in Dreamweaver. I've tried uploading it to my 123-reg hosting via filezilla and in Dreamweaver itself, no joy - I can't seem to get the dreamweaver files over to the damn website. I think it may be a root directory issue - but I don't know why/how/what/where. I'm a total novice and had such a bad day technology wise, my RETURN button has even broken - please help!

Is the problem that the files won't upload to the hosting (a permissions problem), that you can't connect at all (ftp username/password), or that when it's uploaded, it's not loading in a browser (file structure, naming/caching).

The system cannot find the file specified is the error in dreamweaver.

and when I try in Filezilla this is the sort of message I get:

Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (94,136,40,31,28,214)
Command: STOR data.html
Response: 550 Access is denied.
Error: Critical file transfer error

I've even tried switching off my firewall (not that I know what that means, but a help page suggested it!)

Looks like the userid you are using for FTP doesn't have write access the server, or to overwrite existing files - or it's quota has been reached.
Try uploading a file not already on the server, and if that fails, it looks like a support ticket with the host is needed

thanks very muchn - there is nothing on there so dont think the quota has been reached. much appreciated
