Scottish Power price rise & right to end contract
I just got an email from SP stating their price rises. At the bottom of the email was this.
I've only been with SP for about 3 months but am I correct in thinking that I could end my contract early, switch to another provider and gain from the cashback? (assuming the prices are competitive as well)
#You have the right to end your contract and have 20 working days from receipt of this letter to do so. If you do that, and the transfer of supplier process begins no later than 15 working days after you inform us, the new prices will not apply. Changes to gas prices and the gas primary block mean that some gas customers will see a decrease in their annual gas bill.
