Barclaycard to pay off Hitatchi Capital

Hi i hope someone can help i have a barclaycard which ive just received an email saying i can have 0% for balance transfers with a 5% transfer fee - anyway i have outstanding on a Hitatchi Capital loan (central heating) for approx 2k with is at 21.9% interest, so my question is would it be a 'balance transfer' if i paid Hitatchi using Barclaycard or would it be a 'purchase' which im sure is not at 0% i was away to do it until i realised and thought i best check, im 26.9 on purchases so if this is what it would be deemed then not worth it, thanks in advance for the helpful replies!

If you can show it is a loan, my experience with Barclaycard was that they would treat it as a balance transfer
However - a 5% fee!? Are you sure you can't get that cheaper? When I used Barclaycard they charged me 3%?
I'd certainly check with them in a phone call, and see if they can reduce the rate too.0 -
