Sorry, I asked this on another thread but no answer yet and I need to know asap as I've just had a phone call telling me a family member is ill and I need to deal with this before I leave for down south. Can the Egg Money card hold any size of positive balance regardless of the amount of credit limit? I realise the credit…

I did similar a few years ago, I was buying an item that went over my credit limit, so I added the extra to the card waited until it registered on my card (which increased my limit temporarily) and went and spent it. I didn't have any problems (Capital One)
Only when I read this thread did I realize there could have been a problem.
