Best to re-list as Auction or BIN?

Auction vs BIN
Basically one month ago I listed 70 items of clothing as Buy it Now
My listings are all ending in the next couple of days. I have about 20 items left, none of these have watchers and no-one asked any questions about them either which is usually not a good sign!
Should I re-list as BIN or take a gamble and send them to auction! it seems that sometimes auctions do better than BIN's

It depends on the demand for the particular items.

BINs have low visibility until the final few days/hours of the listing so there needs to be a reason for people to search for them. Good brands seem to be snapped up via BIN - I offload labels like Boden and Coast this way with no problems. Ebay is flooded with lower end stuff though and so visibility is more important for say Top Shop or Primark.

One way to approach it might be to put a few things on auction, with a link in the listing to your other BIN items. That way you will encourage shoppers to browse your stuff for similar items.

Selling 50 out of 70 isn't a bad score, but after going unsold for 30 days and having gained no interest, there is probably little interest in the remaining items, so you are probably wasting money by continuing to relist as BINs or auctions.

If you are a private seller, I would relist them as auctions on a free listing days, so it costs you nothing to relist them. After doing this a few times, anything that still remains unsold probably won't ever sell, so I'd give them to a charity shop. :)

I agree, 40p a go for BINs is a bit steep , those 20 unsold items have already cost you £8, if you are a private seller wait until the next free listing day and list them at auction.
