Hi
I have mcafee security suite, adware, spybot installed on my computer. I have ran scans with all. The only one that brings this up is spybot. It says it cannot repair as it may be in use or in the memory. I have tried various ways to remove this but to no avail. Please help. This is the item in its full code.
Bearshare: Class ID (Registry key)
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\!!558EC983-BED8-9168-B2DE-31DBF0EE543E}
I am not a techie but am learning all the time.:T
Thanks Jackie:rolleyes:

Download this registry fix by RIGHT-CLICKING HERE. Save jackie.reg to your desktop.
Restart the machine in Safe Mode and then double-click jackie.reg to merge the contents with your registry when prompted.
Restart the machine and scan with Spybot again.
Please also confirm you are running Spybot v1.4 as apposed to v1.30 -
Poppy No I did have but I uninstalled it as it was causing too many problems.

Thanks I used my initiative and found Safe Mode in the help section of windows. I have already followed the instructions Alfonso gave and ran another scan but it is STILL THERE.
Any other suggestions would be much appreciated0 -
