youtube downloading

I use the video downloader with Firefox, and play the files with the free FLV Player (Google for it). You have to rename the videos as .flv files when you save them.
Works a treat for me.

They have your ip address, thats it - there's nothing they can do with it!

I've looked on my temporary internet files and can see some FLV files. How do I convert them?

I did get a copy of Ashampoo burning studio 2007 on this months PCW magazine. I don't suppose that will do it will it?

You dont need to convert them; download VLC Media Player and set it as the default player for .flv files.

if you search YOUTUBE for a video called how to download YT videos some guy has out a very good step by step guide on it takes about 5 mins to have it on your pc in avi or wmv format anything you want

That's all this extension does, it could record your IP address and browser information, which is the same as any website in the world. No information from your computer is sent
