What can I calim back

Hi,
Could anyone please give me some advice on the following -
I am currently trying to claim back charges from the RBS and got the last 6 years statements I have highlighted all the charges to my account and over the first few years was charged £5 every month then it went to £10 then £12 I know in the last 3 years I had a royalties gold account of which they charged me £12 (can you claim this back) but I did not have this when they were charging me a £5 then £10 a month and it only ever says CHG to A/C with no other explanation?? How can I find out what I am entitled to reclaim?

You can't claim back the charges for a packaged account, as you will have signed a contract to open that account. As far as i am aware the gold account used to cost £5, then £10, then £12. It does show as charge as this is the only way the bank has of debiting your account.
