Hello people
I have a question about a friends IE and I am hoping you can provide me with an answer. When the computer is on IE home page displays but when she clicks on Hotmail a box opens and she is told there is a new version so she started to download and it gets as far as 90% then drops down and informs her the download couldn't complete and the download aborts, but until she downloads the upgrade she cannot access Her Hotmail. I have told you everything she has told me if you have anymore questions i will have to phone her and it may take a little bit of time getting hold of her. Thanks People always in your debt. yesterday she uninstalled IE and downloaded it again thinking it would automaticaly come with the new upgrade but nope it didn't.

I think the update is probably referring to Windows Live Essentials 2011 rather than IE. Maybe try downloading and installing the latest version from http://explore.live.com/windows-live-essentials?os=other0
