Hi all...now, i have aproblem...i'm 18 weeks preggers, have 2 kids (7 and 4) and cannot figure whats happening in april with all the changes to maternity/ baby benifits!
DH works full time, i dont work but it seems everything i would have been entitled to last year has gone! is there anything i'm missing? is there anything left for me to claim?

You'll still get child benefit, definitely. How much does your DH earn?0

A lot of things are being cut.
The HIP (Health in pregnancy grant) is scrapped round about Jan/Feb this year if it's not already. The £500 is being scrapped for anymore than the first child but I think there is a part that says if you've never claimed it you would be entitled to do so (this is only what I've heard, haven't checked it out or anything).
As Zagfles says child benefit is about the only thing you will get alongside TC but they are removing the baby element in April so you don't get the higher rate for the first year as previous.
If you are on a low income you might qualify for healthy start vouchers but you do have to be on a pretty low income to get them, so pretty much everything you could have got last year is reduced or scrapped or will be by the time you're able to claim/due.Credit Card: £796 Left/£900 October 2011 :eek:Store Card: £100 October 2011
