Help please - Barclays Overdraft Protection

Hi I am taking control of my partners finances and have discovered he is paying £16 per month for overdraft protection, which I think is some sort of payment protection. He doesn't remember asking for it or signing anything for it so I wondered if we could claim it all back? I haven't cancelled it yet I wanted to see what you all thought and how to go about it if I can.

Any help would be great please.

I had the same problem, they charge for an overdraft facility, went into the branch, they raised a complaint a week later i had 4x 15.99 £64 put back into my account but lost my £12 overdraft:rotfl:.

Thanks, yes they also charge £16 per month for his £2k o/d. Am now in the process of changing to HSBC.

Should have said, they also charge £22 every 5 working days if he goes into the £500 reserve!!!! Can't wait to tell them to !!!!!! off!!!
