Fridge dead with short circuit

Hi, so my whirlpool double door fridge freezer was dead with burning smell. When I opened the back and opened the circuit box, it was clear that it was short circuit. Two wires were burned. Image Below. Now two things:




1. Where can i find replacement circuit board, the white color plastic board in pic.

2. There is one input and two output, so how can i prevent future short circuit, coz if any wire touches other and it becomes hot, they will melt!

looks like a loose connection which has then got hot. You need to remove the damaged ends of the cables and reconnect them.

The problem might be that, once you’ve cut off the 3 or 4 inches that are affected, then the cables will be too short to reach each other in which case you’ll need to add some new cable.

I’d get some screw connectors (aka choc block) and use that.
