Trevor Whitehouse - of National Clamps fame - has founded the Parking Enforcement Trade Association (PETA) and their website may be viewed here
PETA is a company limited by guarantee - so not for profit - and its registered office is in the Preston area, of course. It is a "baby" - only being incorporated at the beginning of November 2010.
The website reveals some seven companies as being members of which Mr Whitehouse, himself, is a director of three (asterisked)

The website makes for some interesting reading and if I am not mistaken the undercurrent is that they may seek ATA status with the DVLA in due course! An alternative to the BPA? Heaven forfend!

My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
