Redundancy Insurance & Employment Tribunal

Options
Hello - Newbie here and have looked through the posts and cannot find the answer to my question. I wonder if anyone can help me. I was made redundant last year and am awaiting the hearing for 'Unfair Dismissal'. The respondant states in his ET3 that I agreed to be made redundant (not true) but my dismissal letter states that I have been made redundant due to reorganisation of the company. I have forwarded on to my insurers all relevant documentation but the respondant company / solicitor has written a letter back to the insurance company saying that they cannot state why I was made redundant as it is going through the tribunal. Do you think this means that I will not receive any money from my insurance company until I/my solicitor hopefully prove my case.

Also if the respondant company were telling the truth (which they are not) would you not think that they would write on the Insurers form that my leaving was consensual as stated in their ET3.

Any information or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
