Ask them or check out Facebook that reveals a lot.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Marriages in England and Wales are online up to the end of 2005 on Ancestry.Co.Uk. ( Subscription site)
After that date there is nothing online. If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.0 -
by applying for a marraige certificate in the brides/grooms name in the registration district in which he/she would marry (usually its the district the bride lives in but not always). there would be a charge for them to search, and if its a common name you may well find you have multiple choices! try to give as much information as you can - such as full name, address if you have it and age.
the registry offices can all be found online and you can apply for certificates online too.
good luck!0 -

There is a national index.
For marriage since 2005, you probably need to go to the main Registry Office in London, but you might want to have a chat with your local Registry office and ask them if they know where you can get the information.
It is much easier if you know roughly when, have both names and know roughly where. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Try 192.com, a single mate always enters potential dates' details to check they are not married. It isn't fullproof but may be helpful.0
