We stayed in the Three Corners Kiroseiz and enjoyed it, it is on the outskirts of Naama Bay and a pleasant 30 min walk to Naama Bay Street.
The hotel is not on the beachfront but it does have beach bungalows in a sperate location, as a guest at the hotel you can visit the bungalows and make use of the beach, pontoon, bar, restaurant and a free shuttle bus runs every 40 mins or so. The bus will also drop you off at Naama Bay Street so can save on taxi' if you don't fancy the walk.0 -
I've stayed at the Coral Sea Imperial 2 years ago and can highly recommend that. Not sure if you could get it for your budget though?
Actually you can ignore the advice - I've just read it is closed and changing to the new Sensatori.0 -
Wouldn't be surprised if there is big civil unrest very shortly.
What's happened in Tunisia is kicking-off in Egypt. And once the people show they mean business then it may be difficult for them not to follow it through.
Therefore the FCO may advise essential travel only, which travel companies have to act on.
Can't see the travel advice in Tunisia being changed until after the elections, and only then if the results are what the people want.

Have a look at the FCO Travel Advice for Egypt.

If you really want to keep on top of the news in Egypt (and the Middle East and North Africa) then watch Aljazeera on Freeview channel 89, after 1800 daily.0

Your decision.
The FCO advice has just been upgraded to "We now advise against all but essential travel to Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor and Suez"

Travelling against FCO advice could invalidate your travel insurance.0 -

Sharm isn't in any of those regions though.0 -

True. But the trouble is spreading and I'm not sure I would want to be in Egypt in the next few weeks.
Then again, it might all be over in a few days.0
