Yes, particularly as the Adam Smith Institute is so far to the right it would probably canonise Lady T!ReportInvestor wrote:Very interesting link Ian. It appears to show Maggie leaving the UK with a higher tax burden than when she found it. How easily are myths created.
Well, you know what they say Chris -Chrismaths wrote:I'll send you all a postcard from Brisbane!
3 billion flies can't all be wrong! Enjoy.
BTW - Did you know that one of the best selling T shirts at UK airports in the 70's had a union jack with the words, "Will the last one out please turn off the lights".

Chrismaths wrote:Perhaps I made my point in overly aggressive and demob happy way. To all apart from Sapphire (who seems too sanctimonious for words - I seem to remember a similar attitude on the absurd "boycott ICEsave due to whaling thread" - and as to troll, I won't even dignify that one!) I apologise.
Just because someone doesn't agree with you (as regards boycotting Iceland's products), doesn't make them 'too sanctimonious for words'. (I ain't going to go into that subject here, so don't start on that as well.) And your initial off-topic post here certainly made you sound like a whining troll.
Anyway, have a good journey, wherever you are going, and I wish you every success in your new life.

But she never did tackle the Civil Service.0
