Can I ask if anyone has experience of not collecting an online order to have it returned? What actually happens and how long do they keep it? I have just checked and my order is not due in until Monday which would be too late to return and buy back using the £5 off voucher which I am sure my friendly sales assistant would have done for me, I am getting quite a reputation for collecting online orders! I was just going to go and buy them again instore tommorow using the £5 off and not collect the others for a refund. I paid via paypal, does this complicate matters?0

They are supposed to send them back after 2 weeks, but once I went on holiday and forgot to collect it when I came back - I didn't remember until about three months later - and it was still instore. :eek:I :heartpuls M.S.E.

She can register for a card before she makes her purchase and they will give her a temporary/cardboard one. If she has never had a Boots card before tell her to take proof of her age, and ask to join the Health club when she registers.
So long as she is over 60 and in the Health club, she will automatically qualify for the 10% off all Boots products.
It is well worth it, as Boots have many of their own products which aren't always obvious at first glance. Sanctuary used to be one of theirs, but sadly isn't now.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Can someone let me no if/when they have tried this again today!
Just wanna check its still workin before I trek in wiv LO!!0 -
Glitch not workin in my store today on no 7 counter. Was £29 wiv voucher. Only took of 2 x £10! Guess i'l take them bac next wk can't warrant £30!! I suppose u can't take a bit bac on 3 for 2.
On the plus, I got 3 pack of the pampers wipes and a S&G lip gloss on clearance so not a wasted journey! Arm aches now tho, those wipes r heavy!0 -
The glitch wasn't working online this morning (would only let me order one, not 3), nor instore, and to make matters worse, I couldn't find my last 2 x £5 vouchers.

But the lovely SAs gave me 2 x vouchers from "under the counter", and I ended up paying £24.10 for 3 P & Ps (still a great bargain) and £4.50 for my Exquisite Curl Mascara.
I was also given 96 points for the P & P purchase.
I managed to use a 250 points voucher each time, and had 100 pts for the mascara from the ACM. So my mascara "cost" me, in Boots Logic, £1, and the 3 x P & Ps "cost" £20.64 :j :j
I know the mascara will be increasing to £13 in a couple of weeks, so I think that I have £256 worth of products for £43!

Boo hoo. Seems something must have been workin if u only paid £24 (not sure where the 10p come from!) Mine was £34 the £5voucher so £29 and I couldn't find my 250pt coupon either. V sad face here, alws seem to miss out on glitches!! :-(
:(:(:(
P.s does anyone no if these can be returned if I change my mind?0 -

I was actually instore the morning I ordered online and went to look at the box to see what it looked like, but there was no offer on the shelf, not even stating 3 for 2!
There is another MSE thread about the glitch, without the over 60's bit.
I tried it in store yesterday, and it did not work.
i,e only took one £17 off rather than £27.
Then it came back into stock on line, so I ordered it on line.
If you are referring to the No7/R&M £5 voucher, it does say on the back that voucher can only be used in store.
IF this voucher or the new skin care one can be used on line, would some kind person tell me which screen/area you put the details in ?
Also, can you spend your AC points on line ?
I have hundreds ( well thousands actually) but cannot see how to use them for on-line orders.
Thanks
p.s also noticed that there was no sel showing £17 in store yesterday OR today.0 -

My receipt reads:
Serum £54.00
Over 60s save £ 4.90 LESS
Save £20.00 LESS
No7 Voucher £ 5.00 LESS
Which gives me a balance of £24.10, and the 10% over 60s save is made after the £5 voucher has been deducted. HTH
