Phone problem

We have a wireless network and 2 dect phones (BT Edge) for our business line and frequently when the phone rings, within a few rings, the screens on the phones go blank and the phones go dead. It's fine if you answer the phone quickly, but otherwise, no matter how full the battery is you have to get to the phone at breakneck speed or it cuts out. We've wondered if it could be to do with the wireless network. These phones are only a few months old but our previous phones also did it, which is why we replaced them. We also have a second line for our home number, which uses NTL phones, but we never have this problem with these.
Does anybody have any ideas please?

I don't think the wireless network would interfere. Is your internet connection through that phone line? My thoughts are maybe they need (if they don't already) microfilters if there is an internet signal going through that line."She is quite the oddball. Our internet connection is via a broadband modem so presumably that wouldn't affect the phone line.0

It could do if your microfilters are faulty or not plugged in correctly.Charlie0

Yes but presumably your broadband comes in through the phone line (if you don't have cable). As superscaper says, if this is the case you need microfilters for any phones.0

We have a separate cable which comes in through the wall and attachs to the modem. As far as I'm aware it's not linked to either of our phone lines. Could that still affect the phone line?
Also, what are microfilters and where do you get them from? 0 -

No, we have 2 phone lines and a cable modem for broadband internet and we're with NTL.0 -
Ah, I don't know about NTL, I assume the splitting of broadband and phone signals is done in the junction box. Perhaps there is a fault in the junction box?Charlie0
