What does leaving negative feedback and low stars for a seller do to their account

Only Selling Manager Plus has that option, but you'd have to pay for it.

I am a Top Rated Seller and have got 3 low stars for P&P, got two in the last month, I am now going to lose my TRS status at the next evaluation, this will mean that my items will come lower in searches for Best Match, I have been second from the top of the 1st page in the Best Match searches, I have noticed I am not selling as much since the last Evaluation so maybe I am affected already.

I don't like the stars as it is a way for people to hide behind any problems, give positive feedback and leave low stars is unfair, they should be made to leave any problems in the actual feedback especially as sellers cannot leave negs now.

As a buyer I always leave 5 stars for all categories unless I was majorly overcharged on postage or items took a week or more to come and I've never ever left a 1 or 2 stars for anyone.

I am trying to sell as much as possible at the moment to pay off my credit cards as Ebay is my only income and once I've paid them off I will not be Ebaying as much, it's quite unfair sometimes how sellers are treated.

I started doing this a few months ago and now my star ratings are at 4.9 (and have been 5.0!). Even the other ones seem to stay at this mark. I have also started leaving feedback first - i'm sure it makes a difference.

A couple of emails from ebay state, "why not mark your item as dispatched and we will let the buyer know it's on it's way". It seems that doesn't happen.
