I might be going, but as it's the first time my mum will be meeting my MIL2B, prob best to focus on them!!! Although if you hear gales of laughter, that will probably be us, I think they will get on like a house on fire!
If I spot any promo codes, I'll let you know, is it expensive?

I'm planning on going with my mom and daughter. Perhaps we should ask for an MSE stand!!!

Its £13.50 in advance, £15.50 on the day, but £11.50 if you buy 4 tickets.

    A code would be nice!

Or if we can form groups of 4 to book, there is a group discount rate... I have 3 in my party, although my sister *might* come too...
    Just a thought!

I went to this last year and was so disappointed. Everything was sooo expesive.

I wanted to look at Bridesmaid dresses, didnt see a single one!

It's good if you havent got your dress and you know exactly what you want, you'll get a bargain for that.

Last year stands included, personalised sugar sachets (stupidly pricey and a waste of time), made to order aisle runner carpets which cost a fortune and really, really expensive tiara stands

There are some good stands for things like gifts for people like BM's, Ushers etc. There were some cheaper accessories stands mainly tiaras, and there was a stand for petal confetti that you do a sort of pick and mix at! That's good if your wedding's soon and it will keep and you were gonna order it anyway!

One of the ladies told me that stands cost in the £1000's to hire, so the sort of people that exhibit are aimed at the couples having a really expensive wedding!
What matters most is how well you walk through the fire

  • I am going to this with 3 of my bridesmaids so we got the discounted tickets.
I have already got my dress so won't be looking for that, but am looking for bridesmaids dresses and tiaras, jewlerry etc.
Bit gutted buy picklepicks response to this show last year, as I am on a tight budget and was hoping to pick up some bargains, but hey ho should at least should be a good day out with the girls.

I completely agree with everything picklepick has said because i was also disappointed :( i personally thought it was a waste of time. If i remember rightly they charge us £9 for a SMALL bottle of wine  when i say small i mean not much bigger than a miniture sized bottle. EVERYTHING was so expensive and personally was a waste of time - but thats my opinion
