Carpet - bicarb problem

Our dog had an accident and pooed on the carpet. I used vinegar to clean it up & then sprinkled some bicarb (when i thought the carpet was dry) to absorb any left over smell.
I can't get the bicarb out of the carpet - Help!
I can't hoover up any more & not getting anywhere with gentle scrubbing to loosen & then hoover. Obviously the carpet was still somewhat damp.
Have looked in mega-index can't really see anything

Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!

I think you're just going to have to leave it until it dries out. Then it should hoover up easy peasy.

Definately dry now - not coming out at all.
It's a paler white patch in a biscuit/tea/mud carpet - the exact opposite of most problemsStill wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0 -

Is it a new carpet? If not, could this patch just be cleaner than the rest?
That’s happened to me before when cleaning a stain on a rug, I had an especially clean spot which showed up the rest of the carpet
. I had to clean the whole rug.
If it is the bicarb sticking in the carpet fibres I think you should dab on some more vinegar to help shift it. Let it try completely then hoover it. (I don't know if it will work, as i've never had that problem - but it can't hurt) HTHYour home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or other loan secured on it.0
