Buy in bulk cheapest raw hide dog treats

Hi, plain rawhide thin sticks are the only treats my dog can have due to skin problems but they seem to be getting harder to find locally and more and more expensive. Does anyone have an idea where I could buy these online in bulk at the cheapest possible price, he gets through quite a few so I guess this would be the best option but any other suggestions are welcome:)

Sorry to hear your dog has skin problems. I take it this means you need to give cereal free treats? If so (and don't take this the wrong way!) did you ever consider a truly natural treat - such as raw lamb ribs/spine as an alternative? My dogs love them and best of all I get them totally free from my butcher.

Thanks Kaz:) All suggestions welcome, he does have stuff like that but I need something I can put in the cupboard and grab quickly and that is small or that I can take out easily with me, your right about no cereal but also no colour or any other additives he also has a tendancy to put on weight but he is in optimum health atm and thats on a diet of Chappie tinned (as recommended by the vet) and raw hide treats and a few selected scraps, he used to be on a raw diet but put on weight very quickly so I limit raw meat.

Have you tried the poundland/99p stores/Home Bargains type shops. You can get them in there - usually bags/boxes of 20 but they sometimes have bags/boxes of 50 - for about a pound

I normally get from my local 99p shop but they havent had them in for about 2 months:( because of his skin they have to be the plain ones, no colouring or flavouring, my local pet shop said these ones are the least popular so thats why they are hard to find:wall:its even harder cos I live in the sticks and to travel to other pound shops would be a 30 mile round trip - thank for the suggestion:)

If you don't find anywhere locally to buy in bulk then have a look at zooplus.co.uk

Not sure if they're the exact ones you're after but they do a 400 pack for £16.99 which, if you normally get them in packs of 20, works out to 85p a pack.

Thats such a shame mine only ever seem to have those in and my two hate them :rotfl:

Have you tried eBay? search Rawhide and then narrow down to Pet Supplies and theres about 700 or so (at a glance) I did see one guy selling 500 for £25 delivered

Thanks everyone, I bought about 250 (850g) I rough counted them, for £7.99 yesterday from my local pet shop, which isnt too bad now I've researchd online a bit, I'm also going to try my local market in the week, I had forgotten about that, I'm friendly with the guy who runs the pet stall so I'll see if he has a suggestion too - thanks again:)
