Cottage recommendations for New Year?

Wondering if anyone can help me - am looking for a cosy and romantic cottage for 2 for New Year (have left it late I know!)
Ideally would be in Yorkshire, Peak District or similar, but we'd consider anywhere. Would really like an open fire and for it to be quite remote but are willing to look at anything! We'd like it for 2 or 3 nights.
So, please post or PM if you know anywhere!!!!
Thanks in advance for your help!

Have a look on this site :
http://www.yorkshire-cottages.info/short-breaks-search.aspx
We booked a break for next summer through them a couple of months back and they were very reasonibly priced.
They do appear to have New Year short breaks available for £260+.

I looked into a cottage for 3 nights over christmas/new year - unfortunatly most cottage rentals will only allow a week over these times. I had look about 3-4 months ago and couldn't find anything!

I'd phone around the well known companies, you might be extremely lucky and get some kind of cancellation that isn't on a website, but you'll probably have to pay for a week though.
Also somewhere less popular might be more likely.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Places like Lincolnshire and East Anglia aren't too far from Notts and have plenty of countryside.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
