hi, i dont know if anyone can help but i was on income support/incapacity benefit for a few years then when i had my son in 2008 i informed my benefit agency and started to receive child tax credits and child benefit along with my income support. all of a sudden i got a letter saying i was not entitled to all i was getting as i was sick/disabled. i rang income support and explained i should be on the system as a lone parent not on sick, they sorted this out and repayed me the money that they had stopped. i then received a letter to go for the medical assesment that you go for each 6 months for incapacity benefit and i returned the form stating i was no longer on this benefit and was a lone parent. i then never heard anymore. yesterday i received a letter which said how my benefit was made up and it says i am still recieving sickness benefit so it looks like they never stopped paying it to me. aahhhhh!! help ??? whats going to happen ???? i havent put in a false claim as i havent been claiming sickness but theyve been paying it to me and i didnt realise !! thanks for any help
