if its anything like my priter/scanner/copier

just before u get to the scan stage u will be asked if u look for it what format you would like your scan SAVED in, look for it id be surprised if u dont have that option, and select the appropriate format

    ;)

it can also be down with NUMEROUS file conversion programs ill see if i can find a FREE one and post you a link
  • You can view it in Acrobat/Foxit, then copy to clipboard then insert into Paint/Gimp/Photoshop not sure what the quality come out like tho.

  • Hey!

Had a similar problem yesterday, trying to change a photo to JPEG.

I went onto paint, opened the picture that I wanted to change the format of. Click save as.. when this box opens look at the bottom and you have drop down list to choose which 'type' you want the picture saved in.

JPEG is there. Really easy quick way to do.

It will need to render the pdf at the right size for your image. You can do this in The GIMP but you need to also install "ghostscript", which renders postscript files (which pdfs are a variant of).

Much better if you can just rescan not as pdfs - you will lose some resolution quite easily going via pdf.
