Using tesco reward hotels vouchers in Ireland?

I can see how frustrating it is for some but I still found my deal to be great value. It was 111 euros online per night to book our hotel and with cc vouchers it was 133 euros per night for a brilliant hotel in the centre of Dublin.... I know its dropped from 4 times to 3 times the value on exchange but double clubcard points makes up for that...0

Just called The Slieve Donard there to check how much 2 nights would be. They quoted me the "standard rate" of £300. They say it's £150 per night for a standard double room.
However, if I booked on their own website, I would only pay a total of £210, only £105 per night. So....this "deal" is supposedly costing an extra £90 than it should.
(My complaint is that as I have £180 of vouchers, the weekend is costing me £120 in cash instead of £30. I did ask the receptionist if there was an extra charge to use to vouchers and she came out with a flat "no")0 -
Are Hastings hotels the only hotels available in Northern Irealnd to accept Tesco Clubcard vouchers? I have £90 of vouchers and was hoping to get away somewhere soon,0

They get around this by saying that the vouchers are used against the standard brochure rate, as such..or rack rate as they have quoted you. Its always best to check if you can get a better deal elsewhere i.e. online before using your vouchers for hotels or holidays......For me in the example above, the Dublin Hilton, the price raised by only 20 euros per night using the vouchers so made sense just to use vouchers..0
