That's a lot of friendly local (highly qualified and professional) estate agents saying prices are going down.
So it must be true
To be honest you really should take what they say with a pinch of salt.
The situation is more likely to be much worse than they are saying.

They are basically saying, "don't buy now", prices are still going down.shortchanged wrote: »The situation is more likely to be much worse than they are saying.

There are plenty of times I've commented on 'house prices rise' threads , arguing my reasons as to why they've risen and that it's temporary etc, based in facts as I see them, yet.......
On 'house prices falling' threads we don't see Hamish, Sibley or ant other rampant bullish posters posting, why ??
My feeling is deep down they know given the evidence before them no argument can be made and in general they only post to reinforce there own thoughts and VI.Have owned outright since Sept 2009, however I'm of the firm belief that high prices are a cancer on society, they have sucked money out of the economy, handing it to banks who've squandered it.0 -
Ignoring the "official" figures which are of course just spin and bullsh1t, prices have been falling for well over a year and will continue to do so until they become more alligned with income levels."The problem with quotes on the internet is that you never know whether they are genuine or not" -
