JSA - frequency of payments?

Hiya,
Only been signing on since December so sorry if it is a daft question but my understanding was that the JSA payments are every 2 weeks?
My first one was on 30th December (took them a while to process the claim), second one 14th January, third one today, 26th Jan.
So looks like today's one was early?
Kind of need to know when they are coming as got few DD on the account and need to be able to either cover those in time or cancel them and go back to normal bills....
Anyone can perhaps enlighten me if the payments are every 2 weeks "on the dot" or do they vary?
I sign on on Friday - if that helps....
Thanks a lot

Usually paid fortnightly and if paid into your bank account the payment should credit into the account three working days after you sign on. So if you are due to sign on Friday 28/1/11 the payment for the fortnights money up to that date will go into your account the Wednesday after ie 2/2/110

Ok, as today is Wednesday it means that this payment was on time - the previous ones seem to have been late....
Thanks for that.0
