I caught of a glimpse of a report on london tonight about the possibility to use your rail card with the oyster card.

Did anyone see this?

Just wondering how you go about using it...

    I think:

    you register your railcard on your Oyster card (at a station ticket office)

    you travel and are charged at normal PAYG rates

    the daily cap however is lower - that's where the saving comes in.

    That how it works with a senior railcard - I would imagine a YP is similar - assuming you can use it at all
