Quick Capital One Classic Question

Options
Hi everyone, sorry for the silly question, but just thought I may be able to get an answer from here!

Applied 2 weeks ago (12th), received agreement on the 14th (Friday), sent it off that morning, got my pin last Wednesday (19th), and am yet to receive the card. Just wondering if it normally takes this long. And also, do they send it by Royal Mail or, as my dad told me, by courier?

Again, sorry for the stupid question, just been waiting for it all week, with no luck!

A response would be appreciated big time. :)

Luke.

Your dad must live in a dogdy area if his cards come by courier.

It's invariably Royal Mail, apart from high risk postcodes. Give them a call if it hasn't come by the weekend. Nothing to worry about just yet.

what they told me was they send out the PIN, then wait 5 working days for that to be delivered before sending the card - quite time consuming but presume it is to ensure card ends up in the right hands
  • My card got lost in post after I applied. So they sent another, but all in all, it was around 5 weeks from when I applied to actually receiving it in my hand as a result of this.

Hi, my PIN came within two days, my card came about 2 weeks later!

I rang cap 1, got through to India, and the gentleman at the end of the phone told me that I should add another two days... I told him I was supposed to ring after 10 working days, and he didn't seem to understand what that meant!

Oddly enough, the card did arrive two days later!!
  • Cheers for the replies. Rang them last night and was told it would be here by tomorrow latest. I highly doubt it will! But will let you all know what happens.

Is a bit of a joke really, most new/replacement cards are here within a day or 2 after the pin. God knows what takes Capital One so bloody long.
