Awarded HRC/LRM does this effect tax credits/CT

Hi,
I recieved my award today back daed to the 26th november. I think this means we get a dsicount on the council tax?
Do i need to inform tax credits of the DLA award? we get WTC

A DLA award does not automatically lead to a CT reduction. If you receive partial CTB, you may receive more.
