Improve Credit Score.

Basically my credit score is very low and I was refused a credit card. I want to try and improve my credit score.

Another option is my Mum to get a credit card and me to have a 2nd card on her account. My question is would this 2nd card affect my credit score or my mums credit score.

it wont improve your credit record as its not your card, your best but most dangerouse option is to apply for a capital one credit rebuilder card or a vanquis card but be 100% to pay it off at the end of the month as the APRs are around 40 %

If you do not know already the reason for your low credit score, I believe the best thing to do is to order your £2 reports from the CRA's and try to work it out; then apply for one of the so-called sub-prime credit cards that are more likely to get you on board
(you can check the articles and the treads to find more on how to get the reports/which cards are more likely to accept you

I have my credit report which I have looked at.

I have always paid my bills on time and never missed a payment. But my credit score is still very low. I don't understand why.
