I have got this on my computer ... have googled it and says its not a virus but can be malicious. Can't find out how to get rid of it, I have done system restore and its still there.
Need to know what I should do ... someone told me it could mean someone has put a key-logger on my computer ... not sure how much they actually know about computers or whether its a bit of an urban myth??!
Does anyone know how I go about getting rid of it and also what harm will it do?? Am I safe to carry on as normal on here, ie. online banking, ebay etc, or am I at risk???? Sorry for being so dumb but am not technical at all !!!

There are removal instructions on the McAfee website which you could try.Torgwen..........

if the filename is pskill.exe, just delete it. If it is something else, use the AV scanner or spyware scanner in safe mode (F8 at boot) to delete it.
PSkill is a legitimate application to kill processes on a machine or remote machine, but can also be used in viruses for the same effect.

Thank you for your replies ... I have tried to delete it but it keeps saying it cannot be removed. I have also tried to follow McAfees removal help but it isnt working either.

PsKill is a remote admin tool which can be found on networks to allow the administrator to remotely kill processes. It is a microsoft program which is getting picked up by the virus scanner as being potentially unwanted program. Has your pc done some sort of update?0

During reboot - press F8 to get the boot menu. Select Safe Mode.0

If you can't delete, you are probably infected with something, see the malware sticky thread, I'd make sure your PC is clean before internet banking again.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
