Hi - I always used Estee Lauder until my DD introduced me to MAC. It is great for me and cheaper than EL - always buy black. :)
  • Depending on on your budget:

    High-end:

DiorShow Blackout is a great all-rounder. My all-time fave mascara, but costs around £21!

Givenchy Phenomen'eyes is great for length and separation - costs around £15-18.

    Budget:

Avon Supershock is fab for its price (£8, but cheaper when on offer). I find this is great for volume and definition but not so much lengthening.

    L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes
is a good budget all-rounder, costs around £8-10.

    Avoid:

Too Faced Lash Injection - flakes like crazy and smells horrible!
Smashbox Lash DNA - a huge let down for the price tag!

Sorry I can't give you advice on coloured mascara, I've tried both BadGal Blue and Plum and they did nothing for me so I've never tried another coloured mascara. I have very dark lashes so the colour didn't show up.

It comes in a nice brown colour too. I really, really, really, reallyyyy reccomend this mascara :D. It works wonders.

EDIT: Just to put in here that I love high end make up, but this mascara is excellent. I also like sexy curves mascara by rimmel too.
