Old joystick, new computer

My old computer, which had been upgraded countless times, has now died, so I’ve gone and bought a new one. Brilliant nice and fast, DVD re writer etc. Then the problem, I like flight sims and have been using a Thrustmaster Top Gun Mark 2 joystick since 2000. I love this stick, it's well made and up till the computer died worked perfectly, but it has a 15 pin plug which fitted into a game port on the back of the old computer. Unfortunately the new computer only has usb ports so I can’t plug my stick in. As I’m tight and don’t want to buy a cheap plastic thing, does anybody know of an adaptor that I can plug into and then plug that into a usb port. Having looked up on system settings I see that Thrustmaster is mentioned, so I assume if I can get an adaptor then I can select this and chokes away.
If not, then does anyone recommend a decent joystick?

There are lots of USB adapters on ebay Here
Or you could ask someone special to buy you a Saitek X52 joystick and throttle for Christmas. They're fantastic! Saitek X52 Review0 -
Just find someone with an old PCI soundblaster card. I'd be suprised if you can't pick one up for < £5 on ebay. You obviously don't used the sound ports on it, just the joystick port. Prolly find the right person and they'll give 'em away.0

Thanks Tr3mor, I've had a look and contacted some sellers although most state they don't know if I will have full use of all the switches. I also found the same one at Maplins so I might pop out to the local shop and talk to them direct.
Lorian, I can't use an old card as I've got 5.1 from the new computer set up in my study. and as I use the computer to work from home I can't risk messing around with it. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.0 -
I had a similar problem (FS again ). I got a joystick>usb adaptor for a couple of quid.
Similar to this although mine was cheaper!
