Hi Hammyman I'd like to know the reason because I have a 10 year old AV receiver - an Arcam AVR100, and I get perfect DD 5.1 and DTS from my Blu-ray player. I don't have a PS3, I use a Sony BDP 370 Blu-ray player.

Theres no reason at all people cant get 5.1 through a bluray player:idea:0
