I have an old IBM T43 Laptop and now and again the screen goes blank. You can still hear what is going on in the background (say if you are playing music).
I cant understand why it is doing it.

When the screen goes blank, can you still see a faint image on the screen if you look VERY closely - you may have to look from different angles. If you can, it sounds like a faulty screen inverter or backlight.0

The screen just goes blank, you cant see an image. I have to put the laptop in sleep mode then reboot to get it to work again.0

Try pushing the screen right back then bring it forward again. Can you see the screen light flicking off and on??The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.
