Man Utd v Bolton - 19th March - Match tickets

For my son's birthday i am taking him & his mate to this game; but i need match tickets.....

i have contacted Man U & they have stated all three of us need to be members at a cost of £70; then we can apply for tickets & be put in to a ballot for tickets & they but them; so obviously very expensive for one game.

can anyone help me & advise any other way of getting tickets.

i have looked at agencies, etc but they are also expensive.

ANY HELP, ADVISE, ASSISTANCE GREATY APPRECIATED.

The bubble has burst a little at man utd, and for most ordinary matches this season they have put tickets on general sale (no membership required). You need to wait till nearer the date of the game (eg Aston Villa on Feb 1st game tickets are now on general sale).

Under 16s tickets for general public are £15.

You say that Membership for all 3 of you will be £70, but the manutd.com website shows that Memberships are available at reduced rate (because it's late in the season) so 1 Adult @ £20.00 + 2 Juniors @ £14.00 each = £48.00.

Appreciate it's still expensive, but it's much cheaper than paying an Agency and also ensures that you don't get caught by the website scammers who willl take your money & never produce the tickets!

Alternatively, viagogo.co.uk handle Man U's Ticket Exchange scheme. They handle tickets that are put up for sale by season ticket holders who cannot make it to the match. You can access via the manutd.com website but these Exchange tickets only become available after the match is declared "Sold Out" by the Club. You can probably sign up to receive email/SMS alerts when this happens.

Try contacting Man Utd nearer the day.

I am a member and usually get mine from the Viagogo site but you have to be a Man Utd member.

Be prepared to pay between £36 and £49 per ticket depending on where you sit if you get tickets from viagogo. Tickets go up for grabs on here once Man Utd have sold out of their tickets. I find it better because you can chose where you sit. We normally go for the dugout area and the past 2 times we have bagged autographs galore, Fergie, Giggs, Hernandez, Owen and Rooney.

The ballot could get you tickets but again you have to be a member.

Myself, other half and son are members so we can get 3 tickets per match, that's how it works.

hi i have just had to become a member and applied for these tickets via the ballot and have no idea when the results are so dont know if i will get them??. (anyone know how you find out the results??)These tickets are also for my sons birthday but i have to say it was easier getting take that tickets than getting these.
Any help/advice appreciated.

Agreed about ease of applying.........

the ballot finishes 24th Feb, so i am assuming after this date.

I also noted that they charged me full cost for the jkunior tickets rather than half cost, again i assume if succesful they'll amend this?
