Hi guys
I have a hard drive that has been "accidentally formatted" (Don't ask!!).
What program can I use to recover photos from it? I know they exist but not what they are called.
Regards
Indie

I have used Recuva and Getdataback, both are good.
Don't install anything on that drive, and make sure you recover any files to somewhere else.0 -
Provided you haven't done anything other than format, testdisk might be able to undo the formatting and restore the original partition.0

Testdisk gets my vote too. It recovered a corrupt partition table which resulted in Windows not even assigning a drive letter to an external drive of mine.
