I bought a navy hooded top for my son in Sainsbury's about a fortnight ago. He wore it over the weekend and I put it through the wash on Monday morning. The colour ran through a few things and the top itself came out totally washed out/faded. I took it back today without receipt because I couldnt find it.
The lady on customer services told me that the top had cost £8 but that after speaking to the supervisor/manager she was going to refund me £15 in vouchers. This was to allow for the fact that it ran in the wash and for the inconvenience of having to bring it back!
I was totally gobsmacked - I was just expecting a refund. I thought that this was excellent customer service. Well done Sainsbury's :T :T
