Job Seekers Allowance and pension

I am about to lose my job and want to know if i am entitled to JSA.

I am fortunate enough to be in receipt of a pension from a previous employer.

Now can I claim contributions based JSA or would I just be credited with my National insurance stamp .

I was last on JSA back in may before the pension began , I signed off because I was about to go on Income based JSA and knew I wouldnt be entitled to anything.

In august I managed to get some work which is due to end next week.

Pensions do affect JSA (cont based) unfortunately

First £50 of pension is disregarded and the rest is taken in penny for penny.
