Hi guys
I love my Navman sat nav and I would be lost without it but it has a few negatives which I am sick of.....can take 10 mins to lock onto signal when first switched on - now I know it can take a bit longer on first switch on but seriously 10-15 mins is too long isn't it? Numer 2 no 8 digit postcode search just first 5 which is starting it become really time-consuming and 8 digit would be so much easier.
With this in mind, would I be better off buying the new F20? I can sell mine for the same price I can get that for. I would like to stick with Navman as I think they are very good. Is it a bad move - would it be seen as a downgrade or an upgrade?
Thanks for your advice as not really sure what is best to do at the mo!
Josh:)

Not sure on this. I have a Mio 168 with TOM TOM on it. Now a friend has the same unit with the same firmware. His gets a sat fix within 2 mins...me 10 mins. He seems to think its because he uses it every day?????
The postcode search gets you almost within striking distance so I wouldnt be too bothered about that.
Unlesss you have money to burn I would stick with what youve got.
There you go....my tuppence worthI have nothing better to do!!!!
