Hi guys.

Just a very quick question. Does anyone know roughly how long CB claims take to process?

I have recently (11 days ago!) had my first baby, and applied for CB last week.

Just wondering..there's no great rush

They do say it can take up to 12 weeks, but it helps if you send the birth cert in with the claim-they lost mine for DS, so had to wait for a replacement and send that it, they got it last week, so will wait and see how long that takes.........

Not sure how long with a new claim but i had to change details in mine and was told could take up to 26 weeks

Hey emsy! thanks very much. Glad it is all over I have to say!

I did send the birth certificate in with my application, so hopefully they have everything they need.
