rbs Royalties current account travel insurance

I was chatting to a mate last night about annual travel insurance, having earlier been quoted £800 for me (75 and previous heart opperation) and wife (70 previous bypass.)
He (67 lifetime smoker, one lung removed and reduced capacity on the other, previous heart attack, cronic COPD and seven medications taken daily) said he got his free from RBS Royalyies current account. Said it was automatic and he had never had to sign anything. I told him any claim would very likely be refused because of non declaration of medical history.
So who is right, could I save £800 for the cost of £12 a month for this account?
David.

Your friend will find they exclude ant claim directly related to his existing medical conditions0

You will also probably find it does not cover you beyond the age of 70 as per Barclays and HSBC that I know of.0
