Item not received

Hello,
I'm sure that this will have come up before but I am new to all this.
I bought an item on ebay at the end of January and paid for it via nochex with my barclaycard.
I haven't received the items and have continually chased the seller but have received no response.
I went to look at the item again on e-bay and have noticed that the seller has received several negative feedback comments over the last few days from people in a similar situation to me.
The seller is no longer registered with e-bay so I can't start an item not received dispute thing, and the value of the item is low so it is not worth going through the buyer protection procedure.
I have looked at the terms of my barclaycard and am wondering if I can get a refund via that. It isn't clear whether this is possible.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks

If this was me I would ring barclaycard straight away and explain the situation and try to get your money back they should be able to do this. Hope this helps.

have you tried pulling the details from ebay and calling them?
I have no experience with nochec or whatever its called so wouldn't know, sorry! perhaps contact barlaycard anyway! if the seller turns up to be genuine then you can always pay again with a cheque or something!

I've contacted Barclaycard and they've refunded the money! It was only £6.45 but it's the principle of the thing. It really annoys me the way that people think that they can get away with ripping others off.
I'm glad that the seller is no longer registered with e-bay, and I've left negative feedback for her with nochex, so hopefully others won't be taken in like I was. I'm certainly going to pay more attention to feedback in the future, although she only had a couple of negatives (against thousands of positives).
Thanks for the responses and good on Barclaycard!0 -
It always worrries me when a seller suddenly becomes a bad one after many positive feedbacks, it always makes me wonder if they are ill or worse....“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Your really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” Lucille Ball.0
