hell every body
realy need help please
got a tower for my 6 year old daughter to use, with the screen etc
i have bt broadband but the cable from the hub to the tower is too fat for back of tower, the cable that fits is a telephone connection in both holes, am baffled as dont know much about computers and grateful for all help
what do i do to get her onto the internet for her cbeebies citv etc

Hi, the wired connection is via an ethernet cable, like the one shown below.
All newish towers will have a network connection.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

it has 2 plug points but they are little old telephone to modem holes
it must be an old tower as my other tower is connected as described in your pic
only thing i have come accross so far is a wireless usb stick thingy, would rather be able to use a cable thoughupon the hill there stood a cow

Cheaper to buy an ethernet card for it. Check ebay and Amazon for one. Make sure you have space for it, and it will likely be a PCI (as opposed to PCI-E) socket in a 6 year old machine.
Takes about 2 minutes to fit them, and no technical expertise needed.

yes, as above your PC is missing a plain old network card and only has an old dial up modem. (could even rip out and replace the dial up card unless you're planning on going back to 28.8kb internet)
