If you have set your heart on purple what about white roses and lisianthus or purple spray carnations? You can also get sprays of purple crystal flowers to put into the bouquet, eucalyptus makes for nice foliage for something a bit different and it smells nice too
what ever you decide have a wonderful day xx0 -

I am not using the cheapest florist, but the most expensive florist is hardly very mse is it?! Not suprising that a source of a local wedding florist will tell you tell you that it shouldn't just be about the cost if theirs is the highest! Unfortunatly flowers seem to get a big hike up in cost as soon as you say they are for weddings, damn that 'wedding tax'
I know nothing about flowers (my half dead garden is proof to that, lol) so as hard as it is, it's all in the research. Get online and search so that you have an idea when you go in of what you want, because otherwise they will just bombard you with choices. If you have an idea of what you want then the florist can help you from there. Get a quote from them all, but always check out the other flowers in the shop. (plus it's a good excuse to buy yourself some flowers, just for research obviously)
Also, ask when they get their delivery - our florist gets a delivery on a Thursday so they will be really fresh for our wedding day0
